Trying to bring the universe down to earth? Make this "science experiment" and enjoy a tasty treat.
Ingredients:
24 oz dark chocolate, chopped or in chips
24 oz white chocolate, chopped or in chips
Food colouring gel, blue, pink, purple, and white
Star and glitter sprinkles
Directions:
In a large bowl, melt the dark chocolate in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring in between each until smooth. Keep warm and set aside.
Divide the white chocolate into two separate bowls and melt in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring in between each until smooth.
Add blue food gel to one and purple food gel to the other until you get the desired colours.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Pour the dark chocolate on top, using a spatula to spread out to desired thickness.
Pour the blue chocolate over the dark chocolate, then add the purple chocolate.
Use a skewer or butter knife, and swirl the chocolate around until you get the desired look.
Sprinkle with stars and glitter and refrigerate the chocolate for at least 2 hours.
Break into pieces and enjoy!
