Monster Cookies

With Halloween right around the corner, these monster cookies will be a hit for the little chefs in the kitchen.

Ingredients:

• ½ cup salted butter softened

• 1 cup brown sugar

• ½ cup creamy peanut butter

• 1 large egg

• 2 tsp vanilla

• ¾ cup all-purpose flour

• 1 tsp baking soda

• 1 tsp cornstarch

• 1½ cups old-fashioned or quick oats

• 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

• 1 cup mini M&M's

• 1 pkg Wilton Candy Eyes

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. In a large bowl cream together your sugar and butter until fluffy.

3. Mix in your eggs and vanilla until combined.

4. Add in the flour, baking soda and cornstarch and mix until combined.

5. Mix in the peanut butter until smooth.

6. Fold in the oats, chocolate chips and M&M's with a spatula.

7. Place dough onto the cookie sheet roughly two tablespoons per cookie.

8. Bake for 13-15 minutes or until slightly golden on top.

9. Remove from oven and gently press candy eyes onto warm cookies.

10. Let cool on the pan for about 5 minutes then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
