I have a biased opinion because I LOVE cookies. Combining cookies and cake is a deadly combination and should happen more often. Try out this pumpkin cookie cake for a fall/Halloween recipe to spice up the kitchen.

Ingredients:
1 box, Pumpkin Spice Cookie Mix
½ cup butter
1 large egg
4 tsp water for the icing
Black food colouring
Halloween sprinkles
Directions:
Preheat griddle to 350˚F. Line an 8” or 9” round pan with foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
Stir the cookie mix with the butter and egg until a thick cookie dough forms. Press into prepared pan.
Bake for 22-26 minutes, or until browned around the edges and no longer shiny on top. Cool completely before frosting.
Whisk icing packet and water until icing forms desired consistency. Add 4-6 drops of black food colouring and stir to distribute colour. Frost the cookie cake and then top with Halloween sprinkles.
Serves: 8-10
