Ingredients:
1 cup of meltable candy wafers OR white baking chocolate
2 Tbsp hot chocolate mix
Any add-ons you'd like! Eg. Mini marshmallows, crushed candy canes, sprinkles
Directions:
Melt chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, removing it to stir every 15-20 seconds.
Scoop 1 tablespoon of melted candy coating into round silicone moulds (found at the dollar store!). Spread using the back of a spoon until each hole is covered in the coating.
Freeze moulds for 5 minutes or place them in the fridge for 20 minutes.
Remove from silicone moulds and set 3 half-circles aside.
Fill the other 3 half-circles with hot chocolate mix and any add-ins you'd like!
Heat a plate in the microwave and place the bottom of one of the empty half-circles onto it to melt the edges.
Place the melted edge on one of the filled half-circles to seal it.
Optional: Decorate hot chocolate bombs using melted chocolate and any extra add-ons.
Freeze for 5 minutes or refrigerate for 25 minutes and store at room temperature until ready to serve. Serve by placing the hot chocolate bomb into some warm milk and enjoy!
