As a morning shake or a quick meal to get out the door, this berry banana smoothie is an easy recipe for the kids.
Ingredients:
2 cups frozen or fresh mixed berries
1 cup frozen or fresh strawberry flavoured yogourt
1 banana
1 cup milk
½ teaspoon white sugar (Optional)
1 cup of ice (if using fresh fruit)
Directions:
If using fresh fruit, wash the fruit and cut off the stems.
In a blender, combine the ice, mixed berries, strawberry yogourt, banana, milk and sugar (if desired).
Cover, and blend until smooth.
Pour into glasses or travel mugs and enjoy!
