Berry Banana Smoothie

As a morning shake or a quick meal to get out the door, this berry banana smoothie is an easy recipe for the kids.


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups frozen or fresh mixed berries

  • 1 cup frozen or fresh strawberry flavoured yogourt

  • 1 banana

  • 1 cup milk

  • ½ teaspoon white sugar (Optional)

  • 1 cup of ice (if using fresh fruit)

Directions:

  1. If using fresh fruit, wash the fruit and cut off the stems.

  2. In a blender, combine the ice, mixed berries, strawberry yogourt, banana, milk and sugar (if desired).

  3. Cover, and blend until smooth.

  4. Pour into glasses or travel mugs and enjoy!

Notes:

Ask an adult for help with:

  • Cutting the fruit

  • Using the blender
