As a kid, I loved, and even now, I love eating tofu. It is so delicious, and the texture is so fun to eat as well. I especially loved eating this Chinese crispy tofu recipe.

Ingredients
1 block of firm tofu
4 tsp of soy sauce
1 Tbsp of oyster sauce
1 tsp of sugar
2 Tbsp of water

1 tsp of salt
3 Tbsp of an oil of your choice
1 chopped scallion
Directions:
First, slice your tofu into ½-inch thick rectangles.
Prepare the sauce by mixing soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and water.
In the meantime, heat up the oil on medium heat in a pan.
In another dish, mix the cornstarch and salt.
Coat your tofu rectangles in the cornstarch mix and then place it into the pan. Cook each side for about five minutes.
Put the cooked tofu on a separate plate.
Add the sauce mix to the pan and let it simmer for a few minutes.
Pour the sauce onto the tofu.
Add the chopped scallion on top.
Now your dish is ready to serve! You can even have it with rice!
