University is demanding, and there isn’t much time to do anything outside of studying for courses. For me, this is unfortunate, as I love to cook for myself and others, and cooking takes a lot of time that I do not have anymore. Due to this, I had to find ways to create my favourite recipes quickly. This is my favourite quick chilli oil noodle recipe.

Ingredients
1 package of hand-cut noodles
Chilli flakes (to taste)
¼ cup of your preferred oil
2 Tbsp of oyster sauce
A pinch of sugar
½ Tbsp of soy sauce
1 large egg (optional)
Directions:
Boil water on medium heat, and then add in your hand-cut noodles for about 5-7 minutes. Place your cooked noodles in a separate bowl.
In another bowl, mix your sugar, oyster sauce, and sugar.
In the meantime, heat up the oil in a pan on medium-low heat for about 3 minutes.
Add your chilli flakes to the pan. Let it sit with the oil for about 3-5 minutes. Do not burn the chilli flakes.
Now add the oil to the mixing bowl.
Finally, add the noodles into the mixing bowl and mix them to combine the sauce.
You can also add a sunny-side egg on top
Serves: 1-2
